Lucia was born in Vitaz, Eastern Slovakia, Saris district. Her beginning as a singer is closely connected with folklore group Sarisancek from Presov and folklore group Pridan from Vitaz, as well as individual participation at different folklore happenings, festivals or competitions. Later on she developed cooperation with such musical orchestras as Orchestra of Folk Instruments Radio Bratislava and Brno's radio orchestra Brolin.

Her musical expression was accompanied by different folk music's, to which also belongs Folk Music from Vitaz. If the "voice" of folk songs compounds with musical expression as is introduced by folk music from Vitaz, something may come into being.
